Our Sunday gathering is a time to connect with each other, make some music, and listen for the voice of the Spirit. We hope to be lifted and grounded. No two gatherings are the same when there’s space for spontaneity, reflection and response. We consider our time together a work of the people — meaning, everyone’s voice and participation matters and contributes to the greater whole.
On Sunday, September 20th, we will come together for some of the familiar aspects of our gatherings—songs, prayer, and reflection, while mixing in some prompts for prayer in the sanctuary and out on the streets. After meeting together for 45 or so minutes, we will send the community out in small groups to pray for the city and surrounding neighborhood.
Everyone is invited to bring a donation or two from the pantry. We will be collecting canned goods and shelf stable food for our local food pantry partner, Associated Churches.
The nursery will be open but all other kids will be invited to remain with us. We will not open rooms for Canvas Kids. There will be tables available for snacks, coloring, and play.
